Each year the MMA Awards categories are reviewed to ensure that they reflect the continual development of this dynamic industry, and to maintain a clear distinction between categories.

The 2008 awards categories are outlined below, including the “Best of show” and “One to Watch” awards which are selected from entries across the other 9 categories. Entries are restricted to a maximum of 2 categories, not including the Mobile Marketer of the Year which is entered on a peer nomination basis.

A new category introduced this year is the MMA Award for Mobile Advertising, to reflect the growing adoption of these new applications of the mobile channel.
